We couldn’t come up with a common design that would be affordable for both US and EU market.
US uses 24V AC and EU 220V AC and we need both down to 5V DC at about 1A.
- For US we will use a simple off-the-shelf rectifier circuit followed by this DC-to-DC converter

They both have similar overall footprint sizes so that the 2 PCBs will have minimal differences…
