Are there plans to support smart vents

For instance these

Smart vents are air registers that can be remotely closed, they should have integrated wind speed, air temperature sensors and run from batteries or be wired.

They allow sending heat or cooling only to areas where they are needed.

They are needed in a variety of sizes and are something that would be great to 3d print

The thermostat would need to understand that there is more than one zone, support for extra temperature sensors and tell which vent to open and when

We weren’t able to find the way it connects to the outside world apart from the fact that it has WiFi. Could you track this down for us and post here. Your scenario will be possible once we can monitor and control the Smart vent’s state.
