If you sent me feedback on Sept 26th and find this post, know that I did get your messages and I’ve improved the documentation as a result. I’m also going to start shipping units with some foil tape to help act as a heat shield for the temperature sensor.
I replied to your messages via Tindie’s built in system and emailed you directly as well when I thought Tindie might not be emailing you my responses. I fear my email may have been spam filtered. 
At any rate, I appreciate the feedback, and every time I get messages like that I try to figure out how I can make it less likely that people run into the same problems in the future.
